~ Seafood Chowder
1 medium onion chopped fine
½ lbs butter
Pepper & salt to taste
1 lb haddock fillets
½ lb scallops or scallop bits
¾ lb cold water shrimp
½ lb lobster meat
1 can lobster paste
5-7 lbs potatoes cubed small
Melt butter add the onions with the pepper cook
onions ¾ done.
Add lobster fry with the onions until butter starts turning light
red in color.
Then add shrimp, stir very well to mix all together, when mixed
add scallops and fish, be sure to mix well until ¾ cooked.
Add the chopped up potatoes, again, mix well together add cold water
just to cover the ingredients .When the potatoes are 80% cooked
add a can of lobster paste, mix well. Lower the temperature to simmer.
Add salt and pepper to your taste.
You are now ready to serve; you can also add cream to your bowl
of chowder. Enjoy!!!
